We are looking for an administrative assistant for our office in Liège, to support us with administrative work, managing the office and volunteers’ apartment and carrying out local projects.

Our new colleague will:

    • Manage the rental contract of our office space and volunteers’ apartment: pay the bills, keep contact with the landlords, ensure the good conditions and functioning of our spaces;

    • Provide administrative support to the Executive Office: manage contacts with the social secretariat and the Région Wallonne;

    • Prepare accounting documents for registration;

    • Help us organise local events such as the “Dinners in the Dark”, with the support of our team of volunteers;

    • Draft the monthly activity report;

    • Perform other tasks to guarantee the good functioning of the organisation

We are looking for someone who:

    • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in management, accounting, psychology, social sciences or equivalent (essential);

    • Has experience in office administration, HR, daily accounting, insurances management and communication (essential);

    • Is well organised, has good time-management and prioritisation skills, works well both independently and in a team, has a proactive spirit and is a fast learner;

    • Has a full working knowledge of French and is proficient in English. Any other language is a plus.

Extra points if you:

    • Have experience working in an international environment;

    • Have an understanding of the specific requirements and issues related to visual impairment or disability at large;

    • Have work or volunteering experience in the NGO sector.
