VIEWS had the opportunity to participate in a local volunteering fair in Liege.
The ‘Salon du Volontariat’ is a chance for organisations to showcase their cause and to recruit new volunteers. This year the volunteers fair took place over three days from Friday 25 until Sunday 27 May at the Musée des Transports en Commun de Wallonie.
Being the hottest weekend in Belgium so far this year, and with over 50 different associations gathered in the museum, it was a busy and lively few days at the volunteers fair.
As VIEWS relies so much on our volunteers to coordinate and run our various projects and events, such as the dinner in the dark, this was a valuable opportunity for us to strengthen our team of dedicated volunteers.
