Hello! I’m Giulia, I’m 30 years old and I’m from Italy. I’m the new Communications officer and Junior Project manager at VIEWS International.
I have obtained a degree in Security Studies from the University of Reading, in England, after which I’ve had a few job experiences in smaller and bigger organisations in the Western Balkans and in Belgium, but throughout my life I have also been on a few volunteering experiences in Russia.
You’ll often find me with big headphones on, as music accompanies me during most of my day – I love going to concerts and I’ve seen a few European countries through their music festivals. I talk too much about the Balkans and I love travelling, especially in Eastern Europe.
I believe that fair and equitable societies are based on inclusion and cooperation and solidarity, and in the essential role that local organisations hold in spreading these values.
