“YOUTH BETWEEN PARANTHESIS” is the title of the seminar organised by “La rue de chez moi” association, in Martinique Island from August 26th till August 30th 2013. During 5 days professionals from Italy, France (Toulouse, Guyana, Martinique, and Guadalupe), Belgium and Spain, from the youth sector meet together to share and exchange experiences about youth work with young people with fewer opportunities.
The main purpose of this seminar was to enhance regional, European and international cooperation between ngos, as well as to increase the quality of mobility projects for young people within the framework of Youth in Action Programme.
Mobility (presentation of projects of good practice – youth exchanges, EVS, trainings, etc) as a working tool was a great discovery for the representatives of local associations because it is a tool less used in Antilles-Guyana region.
With the help of experts, like the one sent by Views International, we could glimpse exchange projects and study visits concerning visually impaired young people.
