Hello! My name is Patricia Kalanyos, I’m 22 years old and I come from Cluj-Napoca, in Romania.
I work as a massage technician and I’ve prepared a lot for my specialisation: I have a post-secondary school diploma in massage therapy and I’ve also taken many private courses.
I’ve decided to join the European Solidarity Corps volunteering programme to enjoy the opportunity to help others and give my contribution to the world. I’m very excited to be in Belgium and start my adventure: I can’t wait to learn new things, discover a different culture, meet loads of people and be inspired by the exchange with different sensibilities and points of view.
So far, I don’t know much French or English, but this does not discourage me: I think that in life you need courage and determination to reach your goals!
